COMMERCIAL + RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
WHO WE ARE
Thoughtful design. Personal service. Spaces made for lIving.
One80 Design Inc. is a boutique interior design firm based in Ottawa, Ontario, serving clients throughout the Greater Ottawa Area, Southeastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
We are intentionally boutique — and we believe that makes a difference.
Our approach is highly personal and collaborative. We take the time to understand how our clients live, what they love and what they want their space to become, then translate that vision into interiors that are beautiful, functional and distinctly their own.
By remaining a small, focused studio, we are able to offer every client a thoughtful and highly personalized design experience. From a single-room transformation to an extensive renovation or commercial project, every project receives the same care, creativity and attention to detail.
Founder and Principal Designer Shannon Smithers is an award-winning interior designer with more than 20 years of experience in residential and commercial design.
Shannon founded One80 Design Inc. in 2006 after graduating with honours from Algonquin College. Since then, her work has been featured in LUXE Magazine, At Home Magazine, enRoute, Ottawa Citizen Style, Ottawa Life Magazine, as well as numerous design publications, blogs and newspapers. Her work has received both local and national recognition, including an Ottawa Urban Design Award of Excellence and a National Urban Design Award of Merit. In 2023, Shannon was voted Best Designer in Ottawa at the Ottawa Awards and has continued to be nominated each year since.
After two decades in the industry, Shannon remains passionate about creating spaces that feel considered rather than contrived — balancing timeless design with personality, comfort and the unexpected
.
Because the best interiors don't simply look beautiful. They feel like the people who live in them.
